As the drama unfolds next week, Cain persists in isolating himself from his loved ones, adamantly keeping his cancer diagnosis a secret from Moira. But is this decision going to cost him dearly?
In a moment that sparks hope for Moira’s release from prison, Cain contemplates finally opening up to her about his serious health issue. Yet, just as he seems ready to share, he retreats deeper into his web of lies, spiraling further into a path of self-destruction.
"At a time when he truly needs support, Cain chooses to shut everyone out," reveals an insider familiar with the show. "With Moira still behind bars and new developments emerging in her case, Cain finds it impossible to be honest about his illness. If he continues on this path, he risks alienating everyone around him."
As the plot thickens, Cain discovers that Bear Wolf has admitted to the murder of Ray Walters. This confession could potentially exonerate Moira, suggesting she was not involved in the troubling slavery operation.
With a glimmer of optimism regarding Moira’s imminent release, Cain plans to tell her about his confirmed prostate cancer and the necessary treatment he requires. However, chaos erupts in the visiting room when a fight breaks out among the inmates. Faced with the harsh reality of Moira’s struggles behind bars, Cain hesitates and ultimately decides against revealing his diagnosis, opting instead to update her about Bear's confession.
Although Moira does not fully share Cain’s optimism that this will guarantee her freedom, she acknowledges that their situation appears brighter than before.
Unfortunately, the following day, Moira learns that the police are aware of Cain’s attempts to pressure Bear into clearing her name, which does not aid her case at all.
"Moira is furious," our source continues. "Cain’s impulsive behavior is proving ineffectual. She can sense that he is burdened by something else and urges him to open up. This moment presents a perfect chance for Cain to be truthful."
Yet, Cain cannot bring himself to disclose the reality of his condition. Instead, he insists that his primary concern is getting Moira back home to the village. How much longer can he keep this critical truth hidden from her?
